CONSTRUCTION METHODS: All Amish-Furniture-Gallery furniture is solid wood. All tables are finished with a catalyzed heat and moisture resistant finish. All edges are sealed with a wood stabilizer.
CONSTRUCTION INTERVALS: The Amish furniture craftsmen will normally build your furniture for you in approximately twelve weeks plus packing and shipping time of about two and half weeks. Completion may take longer at certain times of the year.
FINISHING: Most of our Amish-built furniture can be ordered finished or unfinished. You may also order your furniture unstained or with a stain color of your own choosing. If you want a different stain color please enter the stain name or code in the comments block of our shopping cart. The comments block is on the page in the shopping cart where you enter your credit card information.
STAIN AND WOOD SAMPLES: This section contains samples of our standard woods and stains for our furniture. It is important to note that the color of the same species of wood can vary from tree to tree and within the same tree. The color can even vary from one end of a board to the other. Our carpenters do a great job of maintaining consistency of stain colors on certain types of woods. However, small variances do occur because of differences in wood color. After you place an order we will be happy to send you a few wood samples so you can be certain you are ordering the correct stain color.
